Warm kids beanies with reflectors and soft, comfortable fleece lining and reflective patterns of Astrid Lindgren’s famous character Emil in Lönneberga keeps children warm and visible in traffic. Do you remember the scene with Emil with the soup bowl on his head? Our first pattern with Emil in Lönneberga is inspired by the story of Emil and the soup tureen and the reflective hat is covered with silhouettes of Emil, Ida, the soup bowl and “mysse” around the entire hat. For better visibility, the beanie is also equipped with reflective motifs high up on the back of the hat to ensure that the child is also visible from behind if other garments cover the lower edge of the hat’s reflectors.

Our reflectors make you visible in the dark at a distance of over 125 metres. They are made of 3M Scotchlite, which is one of the safest and best reflective materials on the market. In addition, the beanie has 360-degree reflectors, so you can be sure your child will be visible from all directions.

The material in the reflectors is made for workwear, meaning it has to live up to high standards when it comes to withstanding washing and maintaining reflectivity. The beanie is made from a soft, stretchy cotton jersey fabric that is 95% cotton and 5% elastane, lined with 100% fleece.

Safety

Our reflectors make children visible in the dark at a distance of over 125 metres. Without reflectors, you can be seen from a distance of 25 metres. Tip! Make sure to wear the reflectors on moving parts such as arms and legs, on both the left and right side. This will provide you with the ideal visibility!

Care instructions

These warm kids beanies can withstand machine washing at 40 degrees and we recommend color wash and/or the delicate wash program, which is significantly gentler on the microspheres on the reflector. Feel free to use a laundry bag for less wear on the reflective surface. (It says hand wash on the label because one of the products contains a buckle). The material in the reflector is made for work clothes, which means that it has high requirements to withstand washing with a maintained reflectivity.

Tip! Remember not to store the reflector together with keys or other sharp objects that could scratch the reflector. Store your reflector with the same care that you would store your glasses. If you care for your Smart in the dark reflectors properly, they last for a long time. Take care of your reflector and it will take care of you!
